Lancashire Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking staff to maintain and operate the Specimen Sample Sorter, performing maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting and repair per manufacturers’ specs. Full training is provided.
Role includes prioritising urgent analyses and processing patient samples, with enhanced pay for evening and weekend shifts. The position is based in Lancashire and involves filing and handling patient samples as part of the workflow.

To maintain/operate the functioning of the Specimen Sample Sorter by performing maintenance, cleaning, troubleshoot procedures and resolve/repair commonly occurring faults according to manufacturers specifications (full training given). To understand the importance for the urgent analysis of samples with special requirements, prioritising this work accordingly To process and file patient samples.
