Working closely with Learning, Product, Product Marketing and freelance contributors, you’ll ensure that our content feels seamless, supportive and deeply human across markets including the UK, ANZ, and future global regions.

This role is ideal for someone with first-hand experience of the medical school pathway (or extensive experience supporting applicants), combined with a strong instinct for storytelling and learner-centred design. Teaching or education experience is a bonus, but not essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Audit and enhance the medical applicant journey on Medify, across written content and visual elements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive, consistent and empathetic voice throughout the platform.
  • Partner with Product to ensure features are populated with best-in-class learning content, including interview preparation materials.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the medical journey, reflecting the diversity of backgrounds, pathways, aspirations and challenges faced by applicants.
  • Author, edit and oversee content covering:Medical school interviews
  • Events and courses
  • Work experience and volunteering pathways
  • Apply instructional design principles to tailor content initially for students, with scope to expand to educators, tutors and mentors.
  • Conduct interviews with students across segments to gather insights and refine the journey.
  • Build and manage a global database of medical school profiles.
  • Manage production flow, quality control and delivery for a freelance team of authors, illustrators and copyeditors.
  • Own the quality and consistency of learning content produced by your contributors.
  • Work with Product Marketing to coordinate product and industry updates and curate content for the in-app newsfeed.
Qualifications (Essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Dentistry or Education
  • (Medics with intercalated degrees in teaching or education will be prioritised)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Education (PGCert, PGDip, MSc or equivalent)
  • Fellowship or Membership of a recognised Medical Education body (e.g. FHEA, FAcadMEd)
  • Experience in medical school interviews, clinical teaching or curriculum development
  • In-depth understanding of the medical school journey (first-hand experience is a major advantage)
  • Proven experience writing engaging, learner-focused narratives
  • Understanding of instructional design and curriculum development (desirable)
  • Experience with digital content creation and project management
  • Customer-focused: Strong empathy for users and the ability to enhance end-to-end experiences
  • Storytelling: Able to inspire, motivate and guide learners through compelling content
  • Creative: Generates fresh ideas and engages constructively with emerging technologies
  • Self-motivated: Comfortable owning your domain and delivering high-quality work in a remote environment
  • Collaborative: Works effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
  • Commercially aware: Aligns content strategy with business goals
  • Organised: Manages multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Adaptable: Responds flexibly to change
  • Future-focused: Interested in building content strategies resilient to AI and emerging technologies
