Overview
Our client is a cutting-edge medical startup that empowers radiologists and medical imaging specialists with its revolutionary Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution to detect medical conditions faster than ever before.
They are seeking their first Sales leader in the UK to establish and open the UK market by developing and implementing an effective sales strategy. This is a full-time, permanent, home-office-based position anywhere in the UK.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience selling into NHS Trusts, CCGs, UK hospitals, healthcare networks, radiology services.
- Experience in radiology, PACS systems, imaging analytics, and relevant clinical knowledge.
- Existing strong network of decision-makers and executives within the provider, payor, and regulatory segments with imaging contacts.
- Ability to present, position, and strategize with prospective providers about AI concepts.
- Working knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement channels (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS Frameworks) and healthcare technology accreditation schemes (e.g., NICE Technology Appraisal).
- Experience with HM Treasury Five Case Model for developing Public Sector Business Cases (accreditation is an advantage).
- Strong experience in executing the full Business Development and sales cycle from initial presentation to deal closing.
- Superior consultative sales skills, along with exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience in establishing sales objectives, forecasting, and developing sales quotas for regions and territories.
- Self-starter, independent, and willing to initiate a regional market by signing new business.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing sales and business development activities, including identifying providers, developing, and executing go-to-market strategies, and establishing the company in the UK with a strong client base.
- Creating and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
- Executing the full Business Development and sales cycle from initial presentation to deal closing.
- Providing sales forecasts and developing quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, negotiating, and closing major contracts.
- Providing strategic input on navigating the market regarding regulation, payment systems, regional clinical needs, and wider stakeholders (NHSI, NHSE, AHSNs, CCGs, etc.).
- Developing a regional market plan for AI solutions, including total addressable market and penetration strategies.
- Managing regional P&L, budget, and goals.
- Liaising with product teams and product owners for market feedback.
- Collaborating with professional services to ensure excellent account support.
