Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 2 Medical Equipment Library Technician to join the Medical Equipment Library within the Clinical Engineering Department in Cambridge. The role involves managing loans, deliveries, collections, cleaning and recording work, with scope for minor repairs and planned activities as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Experience with handling medical equipment and inventory processes.
• Ability to perform routine, non-complex maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work in a busy clinical engineering environment.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Equipment loans across the Trust including deliveries and collections.
• Clean and record all work undertaken in the system.
• Assist with minor repairs and planned activities as directed by management.
• Support the Medical Equipment Library in providing patient-critical equipment.
