Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Medical Equipment Library Technician for the Clinical Engineering Department. You will manage loans, deliveries, cleaning and recording of equipment across the Trust, contributing to safe and efficient equipment management.

The role involves minor repairs and planned activities under supervision, within ISO-based quality standards. Flexible working options may be considered with a 12-week probationary period and Right to

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
• Experience working in a hospital environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and protocols.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Equipment loans across the Trust including deliveries, collections, cleaning and recording of all work undertaken.
• Perform routine non-complex tasks and assist with minor repairs and planned maintenance as directed by management.
• Support the Medical Equipment Library team in Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to ensure equipment operates safely with minimal downtime.
• Liaise with departments to coordinate deliveries and returns of medical equipment across wards and clinics.
