Location: Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (overtime may be required)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment including:
    • Hospital beds
    • Patient hoists
    • Pressure care systems
    • Mobility and daily living aids
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and callouts in healthcare settings.
  • Managing and recording parts usage accurately.
  • Ensuring all work meets safety standards and compliance requirements (e.g. LOLER, PAT testing).
What We’re Looking For
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Medical Equipment Technician, Maintenance Engineer, or similar is highly desirable—but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Basic electrical, mechanical, or DIY skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment.
  • Great people skills—friendly, professional, and able to communicate well with clients and patients.
  • An organised, reliable, and self-motivated approach.
