Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years practical experience working on medical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles with both theory and hands-on application.
• Awareness of medical device legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Clinical knowledge and ability to interpret equipment failure to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, calibration verification and safety testing on a wide range of medical equipment.
• Undertake planned maintenance on highly technical equipment.
• Record inventory data and use the equipment management system.
• Provide technical support to clinical staff and mentor junior staff.
