Join our dedicated Medical Education Team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality training across all our hospital sites.In this dynamic and collaborative role, you'll work closely with Education Managers, Teaching Fellows, and Clinical Leads to coordinate and support a wide range of medical education programmes and activities. From organising teaching sessions to liaising with departments, your work will help shape the learning experience of medical students, resident doctors and consultants.
You'll also contribute to the Work Experience Programme, helping to provide meaningful opportunities for aspiring students across the local community to gain insight into clinical environments and explore future careers in medicine.
Provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the medical education department maintaining a high professional standard at all times, ensuring efficient and effective support is provided.
Contribute to positive experiences for medical students and doctors in training through helpful support and administration.
Proactively plan ahead and coordinate requirements for medical education activity across the Trust.
Assisting the Education Managers in ensuring relevant and accurate data is available at all times.
Assisting the Education Managers in ensuring all educational leads are allocated and student and trainees sign offs and assessments are complete.
Assisting the Education Managers in capturing, monitoring and managing different sources of feedback.
Assisting the Education Managers with reporting requirements.
Assist the Education Managers with improvement projects.
Ensuring the Clinical Leads within the Medical Education Department are fully supported to deliver their roles.
Ensure the Clinical Skills Tutors, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching fellows are supported to enable them to deliver their role.
Ensure all the placement information is accessible to students and trainees before their start date.
Ensure all the teaching rooms are booked in advance of placement activity.
Support faculty as and where needed.
Maintain efficient office systems including keeping accurate records.
