Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) in North Wales seeks an enthusiastic candidate with excellent communication skills to build relationships across large multi-disciplinary teams.

The post holder is expected to take a proactive approach to addressing targets and deadlines, have a track record of managing and leading teams in a complex and changing environment, a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with transferrable skills.
• Management qualification or demonstrable experience in a managerial role.
• RSA Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• ECDL or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Training in service improvement tools and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Directorate Management Team to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day line management of clerical and administration teams within the Medical Directorate.
• Support delivery of targets by monitoring waiting times, capacity, and demand, and coordinating with the Operational Management Team.
