A leading health organization in Barnsley is looking for a Medical Director Office Administration Assistant to support various administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations within the Professional Development Team. This role is an exciting opportunity which has come about due to the increasing workload supporting the business support officers within the Professional Development Team of the Organ and Tissue Donation Directorate of NHSBT.You will undertake a full induction and training programme and receive ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions.This role provides an excellent level of experience working primarily on administration of education and training courses for medical and nursing staff as well as the day-to-day support of the Professional Development team. The role is a great opportunity for anyone with a general administrative background who wants to develop their career.
You will be required to undertake administration and clerical duties in support of the Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation (OTDT) Professional Development Team. Typically these duties will involve:-Ensuring all records are up to date and accurateInputting data onto Excel spreadsheetsReceiving and making telephone callsDealing with queries and requests in relation to education and training coursesUndertaking routine correspondenceBooking hotels, travel etc.Maintaining manual and electronic filing systemsGeneral office duties for example minute taking, photocopying and scanning documents.You will be required to undertake occasional travel and potential overnight stays to meet the requirements of the post (notice will be given) This is usually around 3 4 times per year
