The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, South Yorkshire, is seeking a Medical Director. The Trust is an innovative, integrated healthcare organisation that serves a population of over 270,000 people through modern facilities and community-based sites.
The Trust employs nearly 4,700 staff and has an annual turnover of over £300 million. Through the pandemic, the organisation has continued to develop and improve, with a focus on collaborative models of care and a new five-year strategy to create safe, high-quality, and affordable integrated healthcare services.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and visible medical leader who can work with the dynamic Board and share the Trust's vision of the future. The Medical Director will be a champion for continuous quality improvement, enhancing innovation, improving clinical outcomes and effectiveness, and reducing risk.
The ideal candidate will have a leadership style that complements the Board and will engage and empower committed medics and wider clinical professionals to transform health and care services for the future.
