Job summary

Priory Healthcare is seeking a senior medical leadership role to provide professional leadership to the medical workforce across the site, shaping strategic direction and promoting clinical excellence that enhances patient safety and experience.

• Oversee medical workforce management, including appraisals, rotas, annual leave, recruitment and clinical cover.
• Lead on clinical governance, quality improvement and regulatory compliance, including CQC inspections.
• Support and develop medical colleagues through supervision, mentoring, CPD and development planning.
• Work closely with the Hospital Director and wider Senior Management Team to drive service improvement and strategic priorities.
• Provide leadership on complex clinical matters and contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Support organisational change, innovation and service development across the hospital.
