Medical Devices Training Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Workforce team as the Medical Device Training Coordinator.

You job is to develop and maintain systems and processes to track medical device training for all clinical staff across ESNEFT. This will include a key role in the implementation of a new trust-wide software system to record medical device training and compliance reporting.

You will have excellent organisational and IT skills, a positive approach to change management and are looking for a new challenge.

This post is initially offered until the 31st March but is likely to be extended.

Main duties of the job

Provide coordination of medical device training/competency documents and related governance processes across ESNEFT

In line with the Medical Devices Training Policy coordinate and track training compliance for new medical devices being introduced into two or more departments.

  • Liaise with EBME and manufacturers/suppliers to ensure smooth transition to new devices.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clinician's in the preparation of training documentation and planning training in line with trust policy.
  • Support the introduction of e-QUIP medical device training module to all teams and departments in the organisation to support accurate recording and compliance reporting.
  • Manage compliance data and reporting in relation to medical device training as required for internal and external stakeholders e.g. CQC.
