Overview

We\'re hiring a Medical Device Technician to join our team, ensuring life-saving medical devices are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately to hospitals across the UK and beyond. You\'ll also manage the reconciliation of returned kits, ensuring they are replenished to the highest standards, ready for the next critical procedure. You will be working 37.5 hours a week and will be paid £27,354.36 per annum.

Purpose of the role

As a Medical Device Technician, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our medical device logistics, ensuring that hospitals receive the equipment they need on time. You\'ll process and fulfil orders, manage returns, and conduct quality checks to maintain the highest standards. Based in a dedicated stock location, you\'ll also handle EU returns and work closely with internal teams and external clients to keep everything running seamlessly.

  • Performing quality checks on outgoing shipments
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming medical device shipments

  • Ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) stock management
  • Preparing and processing export paperwork for EU returns
  • Adhering to strict health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Supporting management with reporting and operational tasks as needed
