Job summary
Band 7 Medical Device Integration Lead
To lead and support the development of Medical Device Integration (MDI) with the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR), Cerner. This role involves coordinating support, and working with the Trusts DDaT department, to provide prompt resolution of technical issues.
Lead the Clinical Engineering MDI Team and work with other Trust services to develop and improve MDI at Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Work with the Medical device projects team to successfully deliver new technology into use.
Provide a responsive MDI support service.
Establish Key Performance Indicators relevant to MDI, embedding these in the QMS and departmental reporting.
Ensure stock of MDI parts are maintained.
Contribute to the process development for triaging and transferring MDI calls to and from other partners.
Provide guidance and advice in planning and implementation of MDI projects.
Reciprocate with other technical support staff to ensure continuity of support.
Lead the Clinical Engineering MDI Team and support the wider Clinical Engineering with MDI related issues.
