Job summary

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, is seeking an engineer to lead design and proof activities for smart inhalation and nebuliser systems. You will translate design inputs into specifications, develop prototypes, and drive verification and validation with cross-functional teams.

Join a device development department working with mechanical, electronics, software, and industrialisation teams. Office-based role with CAD tools, laboratories and external partners for testing and validation.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing regulated medical devices, ideally inhalation or nebuliser systems.
• Strong capability in problem analysis, feasibility planning and technical concept development.
• Experience creating verification and validation plans, test protocols and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead translation of design input requirements into design specs and proofs.
• Define component requirements, select components and communicate with suppliers.
• Develop functional samples, prototypes and optimise performance via testing.
• Plan, perform and document design testing to demonstrate design proof.
• Create V&V plans and protocols, execute verification and validation.
• Collaborate with design and industrialisation teams for transfer to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers and test institutes.
• Produce compliant documentation across feasibility, design, testing and V&V.
