Purpose

The Global Medical Capability Value Creation Head is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic change within the Medical Capability Home. This includes establishing value pillars, facilitating planning across mega brands, and ensuring effective enterprise and local interactions. The role involves setting a visionary strategy, developing value creation levers, and establishing governance frameworks to optimize resources and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Medical Capability Transformation

• Set a forward-looking vision and strategy aligned with company goals and future healthcare needs.
• Develop and align Medical Capability Home value creation levers and metrics.
• Demonstrate the value delivered to consumers and healthcare professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and capability development.
• Lead transformative initiatives to enhance efficiency within the DSO operating model.
• Build governance frameworks for visibility, resource optimization, and strategic delivery.

Integrated Medical Capability Home and Activity Plans

• Develop capability frameworks for strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Lead planning cycles ensuring alignment and prioritization.
• Coordinate stakeholders across regions to contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Build strong regional relationships to harmonize implementation.
• Design governance frameworks for progress oversight and impact measurement.
• Identify and advocate for gaps, providing coaching and guidance.

Who You Are

• Degree in medical or health sciences; MBA or similar is a plus.
• Additional education in Change Management, Project Management, or related fields is desirable.
• Extensive experience in Medical Affairs, including Clinical Operations, Evidence Generation, and Medical Strategy.
• Proven ability to develop strategies and coordinate multi-region plans.
• Experience in building global capabilities and leading international teams.

The role is based in the UK or Australia; relocation is not considered.
