Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA I/II) to assist providers in patient care, perform rooming, vitals, basic testing, and medication administration across designated clinical locations including Stratham, Hooksett, and Manchester.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred, and 1 year of relevant healthcare experience or MA program completion. Training and ongoing clinical duties follow JCAHO/CLIA/NCQA standards.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required and one of the following: Graduate from an accredited MA Program, Graduate from an MA Training Program with externship, 1 year of relevant healthcare experience with formal training, or 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepares visit charts with diagnostic test results and reports in medical records.
• Rooms patients for provider visits per criteria and documents vitals and complaints.
• Measures vital signs, height, weight, and other relevant metrics.
• Conducts hearing, vision, respiratory and ECG testing.
• Performs screening such as depression and asthma as needed.
• Collects specimens and processes with proper technique.
• Performs point-of-care testing and venipuncture when needed.
• Adminsisters medications and immunizations per orders.
• Handles prior authorizations for medications/procedures and documents accordingly.
• Maintains clinical supplies and stocks appropriately.
