Job description

Do you want to drive clinical and scientific knowledge by identifying, conducting, and translating relevant clinical studies? Are you skilled in cross-collaboration and capable of delivering insights from clinical studies that strengthen Ambu’s value proposition and support informed decision-making?

Then this might be your defining moment. Apply today and join us for a career #ForeverForward!

Care beyond expectations

In this role, you will drive clinical and scientific knowledge by identifying, conducting, and translating relevant clinical studies aligned with business strategy. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver valuable medical data insights and scientific evidence that strengthen Ambu’s value proposition, support informed decision-making, enhance market access, and improve patient outcomes.

Additionally, the role involves building and managing stakeholder relationships to gain deep market insights. By leveraging emerging evidence and key partnerships, this position ensures comprehensive and impactful support across the organization, including sales and marketing teams, driving scientific adoption and commercial success.

You will join a stellar team consisting of 3 Health Economists, reporting to the Senior Team Lead for HEOR & Market Access, UKI & Nordics.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead clinical and scientific knowledge development (e.g., by maintaining and overseeing clinical studies within your portfolio and identifying trends in the market and studies)
  • Lead Investigator-Initiated Studies (ISS)
  • Responsible for local (UK&I) clinical evaluation
  • Build, maintain, and drive relationships with external stakeholders as a trusted partner, through collaboration, customer visits, and conference participation
  • Serve as the primary expert on clinical data to colleagues across product management and sales
  • Support Market Access and Public Affairs teams in securing guidance, endorsements, and lobbying efforts with societies and governmental bodies

The role is hybrid, though anchored at the Ambu UK&I office in Alconbury, England. Up to 25% of the role will entail travel activities, mostly domestic within UK&I.

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are likely to succeed if you have a Master's degree or PhD in Clinical Research, Medical Science, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.

Additionally, You

  • Have a strong clinical fundament and credibility, ideally with clinical research experience and skills
  • KOL and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate across clinical understanding levels
  • Experience in writing and developing clinical material and training content, preferably in a corporate (Life Sciences) environment
  • Are a self-starter who takes ownership, with a positive and outgoing attitude
  • Possess a UK driver’s license with a clean record
