The position
As the Director of Cardio-renal Medical Affairs, you will be accountable to lead the medical affairs department across Cardiovascular and renal disease. This is a leadership role to establish Novo Nordisk presence within these areas by setting and executing on Medical strategy aligned with the broader aspirations of Novo Nordisk. This position will report to the Vice President Clinical Medical and Regulatory (CMR), UK. The department consists of Medical Affairs professionals including the field cardiorenal Medical Affairs team and their line manager.
Based in Gatwick, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment leading your team and working cross functionally with teams across Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and commercial teams.

About the department
You will be an active member of the CMR Leadership Team, contributing to the CMR business agenda and strategy. Based in the UK, our department is committed to delivering high-quality medical affairs strategies aligned with Novo Nordisk’s objectives. We foster a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere, working closely with senior leaders across the business. Our team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with ABPI code as well as company quality systems and procedures while driving the development and performance management of our high performers.
