A National Health Service in Oakley is seeking a full-time Receptionist to provide professional reception and administrative support to patients and staff. The role includes handling patient enquiries and assisting the clinical team. Candidates should be computer literate, friendly, and confident when dealing with the public. The position offers five weeks holiday per year and access to the NHS staff pension scheme.
Full time 37 hours per week (Permanent Mon-Fri)
Salary: £26,455 pa
Hours: Variable (Permanent Mon-Fri)
We are seeking a confident, friendly person to provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional way. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the GP partners and patients. To assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population. Responsible for administration tasks associated with the running of a busy GP Practice, computer literate, requires friendly confident manner for dealing with General Public. This is a demanding but rewarding role that will provide an impressive variety of day to day responsibilities. Experience of working in a busy public facing environment and being educated to Higher Level or equivalent would be an advantage. Five weeks holiday per year, eligible to join the NHS staff pension and access to NHS staff benefits.
