Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a committed Media Technician for a well-organised arts school in Islington. This full-time, permanent role starts asap and requires experience in administration.

You will provide technical support to staff and students, manage studios and equipment, and ensure AV resources are maintained to a high standard. The role involves assisting with events and fostering a safe, collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff and students.
• Manage and maintain specialist studios, spaces and equipment.
• Ensure Security and H&S standards for safeguarding of students, staff and visitors.
• Offer technical advice and assistance on request by students and staff.
• Document processes and create checklists for events and film shoots.
• Organise, manage and assist with external and internal events and student exhibitions.
• Operate AV equipment in teaching spaces, studios and specialist spaces as required.
• Maintain stock levels of consumables and tools and process purchase orders.
• Advise on long-term development of facilities and install/remove equipment when needed.
• Respond to calls for assistance from users in venues served by the Specialist Technical Services team.
