A well-established and inclusive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and qualified Media Studies Teacher (QTS) to join their team for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is a one-term contract, with potential for extension beyond December.

The Role

You will be responsible for teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 within the English department. As the sole Media specialist in the department, you will need to plan, deliver, and assess independently, so a thorough understanding of the Media Studies curriculum including online media is essential. This position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and is best suited to a confident practitioner with prior experience teaching Media Studies at GCSE and A-Level.

Requirements

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Available to start full-time in September 2025
