Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required to teach Media Studies at secondary level.
• Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding for Media Studies.
• Excellent classroom management skills are required.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are important.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Teach Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and post-16 where appropriate.
• Deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons linked to GCSE/vocational qualifications.
