About the Role

An Independent school in Haringey seeks a dynamic Media Studies Teacher to join their humanities department.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons at KS4 and KS5.
  2. Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
  3. Develop students' critical understanding of media and its influence.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  5. Contribute to the development of the media studies curriculum and resources.
  6. Organise and lead media-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Media Studies.
