Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £29,344-£44,919 (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time

Are you a creative and passionate Media Studies teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes? Our innovative and forward-thinking secondary school is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our growing Media department.

At our school, we embrace the power of creative learning, and we're looking for someone who can inspire students through the exciting world of media. If you're eager to share your expertise in areas such as film, television, social media, journalism, and digital design, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Media Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

  • Plan and develop lessons that ignite curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity

  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development

  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives

  • Build strong relationships with students and parents to support their academic growth and well-being

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • A degree in Media Studies or a related subject (e.g. English, Film Studies, Journalism, Digital Media)

  • Experience teaching Media at secondary level (preferred)

  • Strong classroom management skills, with a focus on engaging and motivating students

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive attitude towards professional development
