Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot audio-visual issues such as dropouts, artifacts, sync problems, and format inconsistencies.
  • Experience working with media playback, QC tools, and file-based workflows (e.g., broadcast formats, codecs, and containers).
  • Familiarity with metadata standards, file naming conventions, and basic digital asset management principles.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to follow structured procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for documenting QC findings and collaborating with technical and production teams.
  • Comfort working in a technical environment and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Previous experience in media operations, post-production, broadcast, or archive management is an advantage.
  • Relevant education or training in media, film, broadcast technology, or a related field is beneficial.

Role Description The Media QC Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Leighton Buzzard.
