Work as a Media Planning Director, responsible for developing media strategies by understanding business objectives, identifying priority audiences, analyzing media behavior, and mapping the customer journey and channel roles.
This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our offices in London and Brighton.
In this position, you will collaborate with major clients to understand their business goals, market, and audiences, setting strategic direction for their media approach. Working closely with client leadership, media delivery, creative, and analytics teams, you will lead the development of integrated media and communication plans across diverse client portfolios.
Reporting to the Head of Media Planning, this role provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our strategy and planning department.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop media strategies aligned with business objectives, target audiences, media behavior, and customer journey mapping.
- Create cross-channel media plans with clear objectives and measurement frameworks.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure campaign concepts and executions align with media plans.
- Ensure media strategies and plans support clients’ business priorities.
- Present strategies and plans to senior client stakeholders.
- Support client relationship management through ongoing engagement.
- Innovate with new ideas to meet client challenges and enhance RocketMill’s services.
- Contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
Skill Requirements
- Experience in planning cross-channel media campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of multiple media channels such as search, social, and display.
- Proficiency in analytics and measurement technologies suitable for various client needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Rigorous market and audience research skills.
- Numeracy and comfort working with data to forecast channel performance.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams.
