The British Medical Association is seeking a Media Officer to join their Media and News Relations team. This hybrid role requires expertise in drafting press materials and managing journalist inquiries, supporting doctors across the UK. The British Medical Association (BMA) - the professional body and trade union for doctors in the UK - is recruiting a Media Officer.
As a Media Officer you will work within the Media and News Relations team, as part of the wider Communications and Policy directorate.
The BMA represents, supports and negotiates on behalf of all UK doctors and medical students and it has an extremely busy press office where no two days are the same and you'll be part of a professional, highly skilled and friendly team which manages the BMA's extensive media activity.
The role is hybrid with at least one day per week in the BMA head office in Central London and there is a requirement to be part of the duty press officer rota, for which you will be remunerated and receive time off when agreed.
