Job description

Position Overview

Fortune is seeking a proactive, creative, and tech-driven Marketing Manager to join our UK/European Sales & Marketing team. This role will focus on audience nurturing, account communications, lead generation, demand generation, and commercial product developments. The position is crucial in driving revenue across our global media platforms, including digital, conferences, video, podcast, print, and social media. We are looking for a motivated Marketing Manager with a commercial mindset to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that engage prospects, nurture existing audiences, and support revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in full-funnel marketing activations, including newsletter/email marketing, Canva/design skills, coding experience, and lead generation programs. Success will be measured by the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, audience engagement, and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement audience-nurturing strategies, ensuring consistent and impactful communications across multiple touchpoints.
  2. Lead the creation and execution of lead generation and demand generation programs, leveraging digital channels to drive high-quality prospects.
  3. Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager and Commercial team to create compelling marketing collateral, including sales presentations, email campaigns, and promotional content.
  4. Optimize marketing efforts through data-driven insights, tracking campaign performance, and refining strategies accordingly.
  5. Build and maintain effective account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to enhance client engagement and retention.
  6. Oversee email marketing initiatives, crafting compelling messaging and ensuring best practices in segmentation and automation.
  7. Utilize CRM tools to track audience interactions, refine engagement strategies, and personalize marketing efforts.
  8. Ensure messaging and branding consistency across all communications.
  9. Leverage Canva and other design tools to create visually compelling marketing materials.
  10. Identify and implement innovative digital marketing strategies to enhance lead generation and audience nurturing.
  11. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
  12. Provide marketing support for events, including pre-event promotion, execution, and post-event follow-ups.
  13. Work with the commercial team on go-to-market strategies for new media products and advertising solutions.
  14. Assist in developing post-event reports and key learnings.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a creative media organization or agency.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Cvent, Canva, HTML/CSS, PowerPoint, Excel, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong copywriting and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Creative, proactive, adaptable, and data-driven with a strong commercial mindset.

Note: This is a 5-day-a-week office role based in Bank. Applicants must have a valid UK work permit, as this role is not eligible for sponsorship. Prior experience supporting the Media Sales team and working on pitch decks is required.
