The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Global Media Director to lead our advertising, sponsorship and event sales initiatives across BizClik Media’s prestigious portfolio. You will champion specific brand verticals and be responsible for generating new business, growing strategic partnerships and delivering against ambitious revenue targets across media platforms and event offerings.

This role encompasses both profile sales (advertorials, digital campaigns, content marketing) and event sales (sponsorship, speaking opportunities, branded content) across digital and live experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Sector Ownership

  • Take full commercial ownership of assigned brand verticals and market sectors.
  • Act as brand champion, driving growth and visibility across all relevant sales channels.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all media assets including digital, newsletter, social, video, event platforms and lead generation products.

Profile and Media Sales

  • Sell multimedia advertising solutions including editorial profiles, sponsored features, and brand storytelling campaigns.
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with advertising agencies, PR firms and direct clients.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to inform positioning and sales strategy.

Event and Sponsorship Sales

  • Drive revenue through event sponsorships, speaker packages and branded event experiences.
  • Position BizClik events as strategic platforms for brand visibility, lead generation and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with content and production teams to develop compelling value propositions.

Commercial Strategy and Reporting

  • Develop and execute business development plans to exceed revenue targets.
  • Track performance and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across content, editorial and sales.
  • Ensure adherence to group sales standards, compliance and operational protocols.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and clients.
  • Deliver professional client presentations, both in person and online.
  • Travel as required between Norwich, London, and client locations.

Success Metrics

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets across profile and event sales.
  • Growth in brand market share and strategic partnerships.
  • Conversion and retention of high-value clients.
  • Increased adoption of custom business solutions and bundled sales packages.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Proven track record in media sales, profile sales, or B2B event sponsorship sales
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and consultative selling
  • Organised, self-motivated, and commercially aware
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in CRM, lead generation, and digital media tools

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in digital publishing or B2B media
  • Familiarity with global markets and international client management
  • Additional language skills
