SkyCare Air Ambulance in St. Andrews, MB is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our maintenance team.

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot failures, and support aircraft used in medevac and time-critical missions across Canada and beyond. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance (Transport Canada), and hands-on work with Navajo, Metro, Westwind, and Astra aircraft, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Transport Canada AME M1 license (M2 asset).
• 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Experience with Navajo, Metro, or Westwind aircraft is an asset.
• Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced operational environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a diverse fleet.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in real-time operations.
• Support aircraft used in medevac and time-critical missions.
• Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance per Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
• Work closely with flight operations and engineering teams to ensure operational readiness.
