Job summary

Arden White Limited is supporting a well established aviation organisation at East Midlands Airport for a Line Maintenance Control Engineer. You will support the flying operation, coordinate quick resolution of technical issues and ensure aircraft availability.

In this role you will interface with Operations Control, Line Engineers and Flight Crews, coordinating maintenance plans, MEL deferrals and AOG recovery while maintaining safety and efficiency in a busy environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' aviation line or base maintenance experience.
Experience on Boeing 737 Classic and NG or similar aircraft.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capability.
Experience in a fast-moving operational aviation environment.
Ability to make sound technical and operational decisions.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Strong team player across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Provide timely technical advice and support to Operations Control, Line Engineers and Flight Crews.
Coordinate and control maintenance requirements relating to the line operation.
Liaise with Part CAMO for technical guidance and clarification.
Keep Operations Control informed regarding delays, aircraft status and AOG situations.
Support and coordinate AOG recovery plans and technical incidents.
Manage and oversee the line maintenance plan, including inputs and line service checks.
Manage Acceptable Deferred Defects and ensure MEL references are correct.
Monitor and risk assess the cumulative impact of multiple deferred defects.
Ensure deferred defects are tracked, planned and rectified before expiry.
Provide technical support to Line Engineers troubleshooting defects and issues.
Maintain aircraft maintenance software to reflect serviceability and availability.
Coordinate manpower, spares and tooling for maintenance and recovery.
Ensure activities comply with Part M, Part 145 and applicable manuals.
Attend and deliver operational briefings and status reports.
Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping.
