Join a major UK Rail company with an excellent reputation in Rolling Stock projects delivery & consultancy.

Ganymede Solutions is partnering with a leading Rail Company to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their growing rolling stock consultancy business.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering top-tier engineering solutions to clients within the rolling stock sector, including services for conventional rail, high speed, light rail, and metro projects.

* Lead the delivery of major projects and support project bids from both technical and commercial perspectives.
* Work directly with clients in the rail sector to deliver engineering solutions related to fleet maintenance, overhaul/modification, obsolescence, reliability, performance, and systems design & build.
* Provide engineering support services and technical consultancy such as investigations, design support, feasibility studies, RCA, technical specifications, component/system design or improvements, and asset cost optimizations.
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, leading the technical engineering consultancy within client accounts/projects.
* Communicate effectively with clients and internal/external stakeholders about engineering problems and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum of a HNC qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experience in a technical support or project engineering role.
* Knowledge of Engineering Change Assurance Processes & Documentation.
* Broad understanding of Electrical Engineering systems within Transportation.

Benefits:

Salary up to �65k, 25 days holiday + BH, 37-hour week, Hybrid Working, and company pension contributions up to 10%.
