Job summary

CircuitHub in Cambridge, UK is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to own projects end to end on the Grid robotics platform. You’ll move from problem to specification, design mechanisms in CAD, prototype on the in-house CNC shop, and integrate software on our robotics OS.

You should have built things before, ideally robots, and be able to diagnose failures from first principles, prototype fixes, and collaborate across sites in the US and UK.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design mechanisms to handle electronics parts and robotic tasks on the factory floor.
• CAD design of gantries and end effectors, with in-house tools such as Fusion 360.
• Prototype parts and validate with engineering calculations and testing on the CNC shop.
• Program machine behavior using in-house robotics OS, with AI assisting CAD and calculations.
