The Role

The successful Mechatronics Engineeringrolewill revolve around the design and development of customer solutions that integrate both electronic and mechanical elements in their design. The successful candidate may have a preference towards either discipline forElectronics Hardware or Mechanical, but a practical appreciation of both is needed.

Mechatronics Engineer Key Skills

: Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

: Graduate/Junior Engineer or 1:3 years professional experience

: Electronics Circuit Design (analogue and digital)

: PCB Design and Schematic Capture

: Embedded C, C++, C, Python

: Network interfaces : SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Ethernet, WI:FI, BLE, ZigBee

: Experience and background in Mechanical for Solidworks, NX, Fusion, Inventor, Enclosures

: Strong understanding of mechanical systems with the ability to read and create engineering drawings

: Good analytical and problem:solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems

: Good teamwork and communication skills

Nice To Have Skills

: Experience of microcontrollers : STM32, ARM Cortex, Microchip PIC

: Motor Control : Knowledge of controlling stepper motors and small DC motors

: Experience with 3D modelling, 3D printing, or similar prototyping tools
