Mechatronics Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Robotics Engineer required to join a manufacturer of precision measurement tools and software solutions primarily in the oil and gas industry based in Pasadena, TX.

The successful candidate will have 3 years experience in a relevant position.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop mechatronic systems, automation equipment, and electromechanical devices, guiding them from concept to production.
  2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish system requirements, specifications, and performance benchmarks.
  3. Conduct thorough feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making processes effectively.
  4. Generate comprehensive design documentation, schematics, and technical drawings utilizing CAD software.
  5. Engineer and deploy control algorithms, firmware, and software tailored for embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  6. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes, meticulously analyzing test data to refine designs for optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechatronics design, development, and implementation, with a preference for backgrounds in tooling and gage manufacturing.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, for advanced 3D modeling and technical drawings.
  4. Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB are essential.
  5. Proven experience in control systems design, sensor integration, and signal processing is necessary.
