Job summary

A successful manufacturing business near Lisburn is seeking an experienced Mechatronic Technician to join their maintenance team. The role involves planned and breakdown maintenance on production plant and equipment in a high-volume environment. Candidates should have a Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship and experience in maintaining equipment, with a minimum NVQ 3 qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ 3 in engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in maintaining plant and equipment in a high-volume production environment.
• Experience from Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Based near Lisburn, our client is a successful manufacturing business who are currently on the market for an experienced Mechatronic Technician to join the maintenance team.

The successful Technician will be responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance on production plant and equipment.

Have served either:

• a Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship in a manufacturing / production setting
• a Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship in any setting plus at least 3 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing / production environment.

Be prepared to work and train in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

• Have a minimum of an NVQ 3 in engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Can demonstrate experience and proven ability of maintaining plant and equipment in a high volume, production environment
• Working experience of PLCs, controls, robotics, hydraulics & pneumatics.

Both day and continental shift patterns are available. Salary is up to £50k depending upon shift pattern.
