Job summary

TQC, based in Nottingham, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with mechatronic experience to join our in-house design, build and test facility. You will contribute to mechanical prototyping, 3D design and assembly for customised automated systems across our engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering subject.
• Must have mechatronic experience.
• Design and supervise the build of Assembly and Test Systems.
• Experience with Special Purpose Machines is helpful.
• Understanding of Design Transfer and ISO9001.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineering and prototyping, 3D design and Drafting.
• Test and Assembly.
• Robotics, conveyors, fixtures and other sophisticated technology modules.
• Work within our Engineering teams to ensure a high-quality system suited to each customer’s needs.
• Supporting Customer Service and Sales activities.
