We are looking to recruit an outstanding technician within our Mechanical Engineering workshop. If you have a genuine passion for engineering, are relentless in your pursuit of quality, and want to help shape both the current and future workforce, then we want to hear from you!

We invite individuals with previous experience in a mechanical workshop who can maintain, clean, and prepare materials for teaching purposes from stock. We are keen to hear from candidates who are looking to pass on their skills to up-and-coming learners interested in this industry.

Skills and experience desired include purchasing, general maintenance of machines and equipment in workshops, on a daily or weekly basis as appropriate. Regular cleaning and lubrication of machines and equipment as specified by the manufacturer’s schedules. Additionally, reporting any hazards or dangers through risk assessments and COSHH assessments.

Required Skills:

• Workshop and Machining experience in a Mechanical Workshop
• Organized, self-motivated, capable of carrying out Health and Safety risk assessments, recording and reporting hazards
