Mechanical Verification Technician Cambridge GBP27,000 - GBP37,000

Be a part of a global leader in telecommunications and communication systems and solutions. As a Mechanical Verification Technician, you will become an integral part of our client s product development process. Reporting to the Mechanical Verification Team Leader, you will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring products meet the highest standards of mechanical performance and reliability. Our client takes pride in fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Your Role:

• Conducting electro-mechanical testing in accordance with defined product test specifications.
• Preparing and assembling mechanical components for testing based on design documentation.
• Performing workshop modifications using hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Managing test samples, maintaining equipment, and tracking departmental consumables.

Key Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings.
• Experience with measuring tools and instruments.
• Basic mechanical workshop skills (e.g. drilling, tapping, use of Dremel and hand tools).
• The ability to drive to test houses in order to conduct external testing and prepare test fixtures.

• A DBS check is required for this role
• A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• This is a full time position, based on-site
