Test Technician / Manufacturing / West Lothian

My client is a global engineering organization providing leading products and solutions to clients in the O&G, Marine, Industrial, and Renewable industries. They are seeking an experienced Test Technician for their West Lothian site.

The Test Technician will be responsible for mechanical testing of engineering structures and tubular components.

Responsibilities:
  • Testing products in development and existing products from concept to production.
  • Testing commercial products to client and in-house specifications.
  • Assisting with preparation and compilation of trials and test procedures, technical data analysis, and final reports.
  • Assembling full-scale test rigs, conducting tests, and monitoring data via PC during tests.
  • Compiling daily logs of testing activities.
  • Applying strain monitoring instrumentation, calibrations, installations, and monitoring data acquisition systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards to maintain UKAS accreditation.
Qualifications:
  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
