Job summary

Syensqo SA is seeking a shift-based laboratory professional to perform mechanical testing of resin film adhesives and prepare test specimens. The role requires flexibility to work 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime.

You will use LIMS and SAP, liaise with various departments, and uphold stringent safety standards while maintaining clean, organized lab practices. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training opportunities.

Role And Responsibilities

Job Description

• Working a 12hr shift pattern; Monday to Friday. Overtime will be expected on occasion.

(Other shifts may be required, appropriate notice will be given)

• Mechanical testing of resin film adhesives
• Preparation and testing of mechanical test specimens.
• Use of LIMS, SAP, and various other PC based systems.
• Expected to demonstrate strong safety leadership.
• Liaising with various areas of the business to ensure the demands of the business are met.
• Ensuring high levels of housekeeping are maintained.

Experience And Skills

• Demonstrate flexibility – willing to adapt to various shift patterns to suit the demands of the business
• Bring previous laboratory experience (GLP)
• Demonstrate familiarity with mechanical test methods and equipment with high attention to detail
• Offer experience in using LIMS and SAP
• Provide experience in use of mechanical test equipment & specimen preparation
• Demonstrate strong commitment to all aspects of safety due to experience in similar environments.

What We Offer

• The UK-based annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is £30,039.70 +16.6% shift. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
