We are looking for:
Join our dynamic team in the Materials and Testing laboratory in Wrexham during an exciting growth period at Syensqo. As explorers in materials science, our M&T Lab plays a crucial role in delivering product test data for aerospace qualifications, product re-sites, problem resolution, and development activities. Your role involves improving testing methods, expanding capabilities, supporting test requests, and root cause analysis. You will develop methods, deliver training, and network within the industry, contributing to scientific exploration to advance humanity. We offer comprehensive training for newcomers, with experienced candidates encouraged to apply.

- Developing and implementing new testing techniques and improving existing methods.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and method development.
- Standardizing and implementing reporting improvements through new procedures.
- Delivering and enhancing training programs for laboratory staff.
- Expanding testing capabilities across physical, analytical, mechanical, and NDI techniques.
- Networking with industry experts and the wider Syensqo community.
- Conducting round robin studies and gaining accreditations from organizations like Airbus, NADCAP, and NCamp.
- Supporting test requests and providing detailed reports aligned with industry standards.
- Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting test failures.

You will bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology (minimum).
- 5 years’ experience in the advanced materials market in a technical role.
- 2 years’ experience in leadership or management preferred.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and Continuous Improvement tools.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of composites, resins, fibres, test methods, and statistics.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Additional information:
