Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Mechanical Technician (Electrical Training) in Lisburn to join a specialist manufacturer of yard tractors. The role offers £40,000–£42,000 with overtime potential (£49k OTE), 30 days holiday and a company bonus.

You will fault-diagnose, install and maintain electrical yard tractors, with full in-house training to develop a truly multi-skilled engineer. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with clear progression into supervisory and managerial positions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Technician or similar.
• NVQ/HC/HND or equivalent qualification.

Are you a qualified Mechanical Technician or similar looking for the opportunity to join an innovative business that manufacture special purpose vehicles and can offer expert electrical training to enable a multi-skilled career path?

In this role you will be responsible for fault diagnosing, installing and maintaining gearboxes, diesel engines and braking systems of electric yard tractors. You will receive full in-house training on all equipment.

Established for over 10 years, this specialist company provides the sale, servicing and maintenance of specialist yard tractors and heavy-duty equipment for customers across the UK and Ireland. With a growing team of 23, they are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join their team and support their continued growth.

This role would suit a qualified Mechanical Technician or similar who is looking for full electrical training to enable your technical development, becoming a truly Multi-skilled Engineer.

The Role:
