Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) required.
• Full UK driving license necessary.
• Experience with mechanical inspections and maintenance necessary.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Bioresources

Salary: Circa £45k depending on experience (including 15% shift allowance) + Overtime available

Employment Type: Full-time, 40.25 hours per week, across a 7-day working pattern

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, supporting the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling assets. Your work contributes to wastewater treatment, renewable energy production, and high-quality bioresource products aligned with Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or completed relevant apprenticeship
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with inspections and maintenance of gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, valves, and centrifuge equipment
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided) is desirable
• Flexible and resilient, adaptable to training and business needs
