Job description

Job Title: Aerospace Mechanical Technician

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical-biased Technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering company in the Chesterfield area.

You will be assembling and testing complex mechanical systems, either in the repair section or in the new product build area.

Prior aerospace experience is preferred, but the right candidate with relevant mechanical skills will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Finding and testing faults in complex hydraulic products.
  • Assembling complex hydraulic products.
  • Completing Quality Audits.
  • Building and repairing hydraulic products.
  • Using measuring tools such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges for inspection.
Candidate Background
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow procedures.
  • Proficiency with assembly tools.
  • Hydraulic testing experience.
