Job description

Job Title: Aerospace Mechanical Technician

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role - Aerospace Mechanical Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical-biased Technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering business in the Wolverhampton area.

You will be assembling and testing a range of complex mechanical systems, either in the repair section or in the new product build area.

While prior aerospace experience is preferred, the right candidate with a strong mechanical background could be a great fit for this role.

• Finding and testing faults in complex hydraulic products.
• Assembling complex hydraulic products.
• Completing quality audits.
• Building new or repairing existing complex hydraulic products.
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.

Background - Aerospace Mechanical Technician

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification, ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow different set procedures.
• Competency with a range of assembly tools.
• Hydraulic testing experience.
