Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: 38 per hour Umbrella/ 28.86 per hour PAYE
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site
Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday, 44 hours per week. Friday/Saturday/Sunday working may be required on an ad hoc voluntary basis

Role Information:
Undertake activities in line with training, best practice and company standards
Involved in the planning and preparation of work
Carry out work in a safe manner with the relevant SSOW, utilising company best practice
Carry out risk assessments and safety observations
Comply with company/customer procedures, rules and instructions
Undertake work in line with the technical and quality requirements of SSOW
Report any defects, damage, safety hazards and general issues to the relevant personnel

Qualifications/Experience Required:
CSCS card or CCNSG Safety Passport
Plant installation or mechanical construction experience
Comfortable working to SSOW
Highly regulated industry experience
Good knowledge of mechanical installation and/or minor civils works

UK National Security Vetting Status: BPSS clearance
