Mechanical Technician (Workshop Engineer/Forklifts/Automotive)

Burton-on-Trent

A salary range of GBP 31,000 to GBP 40,500 plus overtime at 1.5 and 2.0, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, 6 employer and 4 employee pension contributions, life assurance, uniform, parking, specialist tooling, training, and career progression opportunities.

Monday to Friday, with 40 or 45 hours contracts available.

This role is with a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment. You will benefit from excellent training on their product range.

The position is suitable for engineers from various backgrounds including plant machinery, forklifts, HGVs, agricultural equipment, or similar. Automotive technicians and motor trade applicants are also encouraged to apply as full training will be provided. You should have mechanical service and repair skills on vehicles or plant equipment.

You will be part of a skilled team in a reputable company, performing mechanical and electrical service and repair of used forklifts. Responsibilities include ordering spare parts and communicating progress to the Workshop Manager. The role is based at a client's site, a large automated warehouse in Burton-on-Trent.
